Our “All Power (1966)” graphic is inspired by the 1966 chapter of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense. This was the first chapter created for self-defense following the party’s creation in Lowndes County, Alabama. We flipped the Panther’s original logo and incorporated the year and city (Oakland) where the party was started to challenge police brutality in African American communities.
